How does the Mindfulness Challenge work?

Firstly, what is a Mindfulness Challenge?

A Mindfulness Challenge is a chance for you to join together with your colleagues to reach a "Mindful Minutes" target.

Navigating in-app

When a mindfulness challenge is active, you can find it by clicking the Challenge tab in the Mental Health area (as shown below)

Submitting your Mindful Minutes data

You can join/contribute to a challenge by adding mindful minutes data via the mood tracker. You can access the mood tracker directly from the Challenge page, by clicking "Add your results" (as shown below)

The tracker will remind you that the challenge is active upon opening it and you can add your mindful minutes data in multiple ways;

  1. Manually add the minutes of mindfulness that you do in the app in the In Platform minutes section (we are currently working on automating this so your tracker will record the minutes as and when you watch mindfulness content in the app)
  2. Manually add the minutes of mindfulness that you do in your own time in the Off Platform minutes section

Once you have submitted your tracker entry, you can then view your daily and overall personal progress on the Challenge tab. You can also see how much of the challenge you’ve completed as a team and how many steps are remaining (as shown below)

Joining the leaderboard

If you want your results to stay anonymous, you can leave the leaderboard toggle set to "off" or if you want to add your results to the leaderboard, change the leaderboard toggle to "on". Your results will then be shown alongside the results that have been submitted by your colleagues. See how to do this in the video below:

Stay up to date with adding your results by setting up a tracker reminder. Learn how to do this here. It's best to set up your tracker reminder so that it reminds you to enter your results at the end of the day when you have completed your activities.
